Brian King, President & CEO: Currently we have 12 offices situated throughout Ontario and Quebec and partnerships in other parts of the country and providing a national service to our clients, which are primarily the P&C industry and corporate Canada.
We provide a full-service investigation team of experts in a number of different areas, from the P&C market where we handle all types of major losses and catastrophic situations to the intellectual property field where we work on enforcement of intellectual property rights, trademark secrets, that type of thing. Every type of litigation matter that arises as a result of insurance litigation we will assist with. We work for several regulatory bodies, not only in an enforcement capacity through members of former law enforcement but also from an investigative standpoint, such things as breach of trust or human rights complaints, sexual harassment and the full gamut.
Traditionally we started – as most entrepreneurial businesses – as a very small business. We were reactive to clients’ needs and as we grew to a 200 staff team of experts, we evolved into a company that also was providing proactive work for our clients. We do educational programs, fraud awareness, pre-employment screening to help them with their human resources and really have taken it from being a company that would react to a situation that they might have to one that works with our clients to ensure that the problems don’t reoccur.
