Man sues attorneys for $38 quadrillion
A Las Vegas man is suing a Nevada law firm for $28 quadrillion.
John Theodore Anderson said the former owner of a Utah mine owes him money, so he put a $918 billion lien on the property.
When a client of law firm of Shumway, Van and Hansen attempted to sell the property, it couldn’t due to the line. The firm filed a lawsuit against Anderson for $10,000 in damages to remove the lien. Anderson said he had a contract with the mine owner but was not paid for work he did and would not remove the lien nor accept the suit.
Now, Anderson is suing the law firm, saying lawyers Douglas Shumway, Benjamin Schramm and Michael Van fraudulently sued him with the law suit to remove the lien.
The total amount of money in the world is estimated to be about $24 trillion. (A quadrillion has 15 zeros; a trillion has just 12 zeros.)
