Coastal Insurance Services Ltd., the preeminent strata insurance brokerage in British Columbia, is seeking a dynamic leader with a success record demonstrating detail orientation with strong business acumen and excellent analytical and problem solving abilities. Coastal values the strong relationships it has with insurers, and a key role will be to build and nourish these relationships to ensure that both the brokerage and the insurers’ goals are respected.
The successful candidate will be intrinsically motivated, work well independently and possess excellent oral and written communication, superb customer service and strong relationship building skills with the ability to positively influence others. The ability to effectively compile and analyze data, draw conclusions and prepare reports and recommendations and implement agreed upon strategies is paramount.
An organizational culture background with computer literacy and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows with high proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
The ideal applicant will have an undergraduate degree in a business related discipline augmented with a CIP designation and a minimum of 10 years property and casualty experience with a focus on commercial and personal lines (property) underwriting.
