EGI Financial announces resignation of officer

EGI Financial Holdings Inc. announced that Mark Sylvia has tendered his resignation as chief executive officer and a director of the Company’s subsidiary, Echelon General Insurance Company, and his other positions within the EGI Financial group of companies, to pursue other interests.

Mr. Sylvia has been an officer of EGI Financial and its predecessor companies since 2001. “I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mark for his many contributions to EGI Financial, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours,” said Douglas McIntyre, CEO of EGI Financial.
