CAA Saskatchewan to offer auto insurance package policy
CAA Saskatchewan is now offering its own auto insurance package policy for CAA members in the province.
“This is something our members have been asking for,” said Fred Titanich, President and CEO of CAA Saskatchewan, in a statement. “They wanted us to be more than just their insurance broker. They wanted us to actually underwrite their insurance products as well because of the trust they have in the CAA brand, trust that has been built on the service they have received through our insurance brokerage and their membership.”
The new auto insurance – Advantage Auto Insurance – is underwritten by AssurePro Insurance Company Ltd., a CAA Saskatchewan-owned company, established to provide CAA member-exclusive products and services. The new insurance product extends the minimum coverage provided by Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) under the Auto Fund Program.
“The policy is designed to work with SGI license plate coverage, providing members with increased liability and reduced damage deductibles,” said Terry MacDonald, Vice President of Insurance Services for CAA Saskatchewan.
Options provided by Advantage Auto Insurance include the following:
- Increased liability limits and family security up to $2,000,000.
- Lower deductible options for collision and other risks like fire, wind, hail and theft.
- No deductible for wildlife damage, theft of the entire vehicle or total fire damage.
- Accident benefits for income replacement, education, funeral benefits and more.
- Loss of use for alternate means of transportation after an insured loss.
- Downtime rider for rental vehicles.
- Replacement cost and limited waiver of depreciation on newer vehicles.
- Windshield protection against cracks and chips.
- Low interest monthly finance plans.
