Sun Life named ‘most trusted’
Canadians have voted Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada as the "Most Trusted Life Insurance Company" in the country based on a Harris/Decima poll commissioned by Reader’s Digest for its 2010 Trusted Brand awards program.
The Harris/Decima poll provided respondents with a list of product categories, one of which was Life Insurance, and asked them to indicate, unprompted, which brand they trusted most.
The poll was conducted October 2 through 15, 2009.
Product quality, customer service and brand experience scored high among poll respondents who chose Sun Life as their most trusted brand of life insurance.
The Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand awards program is used to determine consumer attitudes and opinions related to 28 specific brand categories and to recognize the "Most Trusted" brand in each of those categories. This initiative has expanded quickly since it was first launched in Asia in 2000, and is currently active in 28 countries across the world.
