Lady Gaga’s insurer won’t pay in legal dispute

While she may be one of this year’s most popular performers, Lady Gaga’s insurance company will not be paying out in the $30 million breach of contract battle the star is in.

According to reports, Navigators Specialty Insurance Company has denied the singer’s claim to help fight a $30 million breach of contract suit with her former producer/ex-boyfriend Rob Fusari. Fusari says he is entitled to a share of Gaga’s (real name Stefani Germanotta) earnings after he had a hand in “radically reshaping” her approach to music just before she found commercial success.

In court documents, said to have been seen by website TMZ, Navigators says that the policy only covers “an act or omission including personal injury in the performance of professional services.”
