CFO of the Caisse leaving pension fund manager

The chief financial officer of the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec is leaving, the big fund manager said.

The Caisse said the search for a replacement for Ghislain Parent has under way for some time and a replacement will be announced shortly. In the meantime, the Caisse said president and chief executive Michael Sabia, will continue to handle the CFO’s responsibilities.

The Caisse manages money primarily for public and private pension and insurance plans in Quebec.
